Fort Bend County Municipal Utility District No. 165 (FBCMUD 165) is actively engaged in a sidewalk repair project to enhance safety and functionality throughout the District. The focus is on addressing problematic areas located near District-owned infrastructure, such as fire hydrants, in-ground water valves, and manholes. These locations often see significant wear due to their essential roles and the interaction between utility access and pedestrian use.

The initiative is funded through the District’s operating budget, which has been carefully allocated and authorized by the Board of Directors. This highlights the board’s commitment to addressing community concerns and prioritizing necessary infrastructure improvements. Additionally, the project has received support in the form of contributions from Fort Bend County, showcasing a collaborative effort to enhance public spaces and infrastructure for residents.
