Mission Statement
The Fort Bend County Precinct 4 Constable’s Office, in partnership with the citizens, recognizes the changing needs of our community, the civil/criminal process and law enforcement’s role in addressing those needs. Furthermore, Constable Mike Beard is from Palacios, Texas and has been a Fort Bend County resident for over 35 years. Constable Beard has 36 years of law enforcement experience and possess a Master Peace Officer Certification with over 4700 hours of training. He is a former Needville, TX Chief of Police and served on the International Police Task Force as a Deputy Station Commander in Kosovo and Iraq. Constable Beard is also a 2018 FBI LEEDA Trilogy Award recipient.
Constable Beard has been married to his wife, Marie, for 21 years. Mike and Marie share 4 children and 8 grandchildren. Constable Beard is a person of faith and is very pleased to serve the Fieldstone Community and Fort Bend MUD District 165.
During his spare time, Mike enjoys hunting and fishing as lifelong hobbies.
Constable Beard pledges excellence, initiative and integrity to enhance the quality of life throughout Fieldstone and Fort Bend County. He firmly believes that those he serves deserve no less.
